So far so good, i haven't created the whole thing yet but the first three packets gave me intense joy. The instructions are clear, concise and very easy to follow. I would have liked a bit more attention paid to the boxing i.e. the bags are just thrown in to the box, that in and of itself does not detract from this wonderful model but I would have thought that at this price you would expect individual compartments etc and a box that opens on the front side, (large side). But hey ho I got this for my 55th birthday and I'm loving it, I just wish there are more models like this.

I brought this for my son for whom I don't see that much as lives abroad. I saw him this month and a I asked him why he didn't finished the Saturn V Lego rocket that I sent him for Christmas present only to be informed me that there pieces missing unable to finish the Lego model. I was not aware that did not finished it because of the missing parts. or would contact Amazon much much sooner. imagery disappointed about such a expensive gift which can't be used

A truly awesome lego set of one of the most iconic space ships of the 20th century. Apollo 11 launched in 1969 and that's how many pieces you get, which i thought was a nice touch. Built over a weekend, model looks amazing. Plenty of work went into the design of this model, clearly shows when building it as well. Instructions are good, a couple of times you need to really look at what is supposed to going on, but otherwise fine. A truly great set, and for those of us who the moon landings live, this model will rekindle those memories for sure.

I'm 13 and I bought this for myself and I am very glad I did! It is simply stunning the way this looks and it is a joy to make. Highly recommended for anybody over the age of 10. If you are planning to use it with youngsters adult supervision is a must it was complicated enough for me let alone someone younger.

It took about 15 hours to build the rocket. I was impressed my the interior struckture of the rocket, which at time could be a bit fidley. It was great fun to build. The size is very impressive and I really like the seperate Lunar Lander and the splash down module. I would really recommend this lego set.
